The WOW! effect on damascene, a treasure waiting to be discovered.

1 of every 10000 people already knows about damascene, and those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of discovering this exquisite art form might react with a WOW when seeing it.

In the last Gift Fairs we were part of, Ambiente Frankfurt and Hong Kong Gifts and Premium, the reaction was exactly the same : WOW!

  Why if it has that much tradition and years?? Production all along the years, has been kept in a very few tiny cities in Spain and in Japan.  (Learn more about Damascene history here)

During the last decade, there has been a significant shifts in consumer demand, which meet more emotional than functional needs. And that is a real fact in a consumer's world where everything is available in every corner of the world.

And Wow! means emotion, wow means WOW!

From our side, the producers, there is also been a change in promotion and sales methods of local and traditional products, specially in our region Castilla La Mancha , land of wines, ceramics and damascene. And here we say WOW!, we need to spread this history and tradition to the world.
